This artwork portrays a German paratrooper machine gun team operating in Europe during the Second World War.
They are shown wearing the distinctive Splintertern camouflage, a pioneering pattern that influenced the development of many modern camouflage designs.
The piece was produced by Corporal Tilak Thapa Magar, a currently serving soldier with 2nd Battalion, Royal Gurkha Rifles.
